Typical Install Steps
- Empty and inspect. Oil spots, old paint, cracks, and moisture clues.
- Diamond grinding to open the concrete (CSP profile) so the coating can bond.
- Repair cracks and spalls — especially freeze-thaw damage along tire paths.
- Base coat of pigmented epoxy; moisture-tolerant primer first if tests call for it.
- Flake broadcast (light or full) for hide and texture.
- Clear topcoat — often polyaspartic where UV or chemical resistance matters.

Epoxy vs. Garage Paint
| Professional system | 1-part garage paint | |
|---|---|---|
| Prep | Diamond grind | Clean / etch |
| Hot tire pickup | Resistant when bonded | Common failure |
| De-icer resistance | Good with right topcoat | Poor |
| Cost | Higher | Lower |
